Organization of a tutorial at the IEEE/ASME International Conference on Intelligent Advanced Mechatronics (AIM)

The ANR MYMESYS project and the C-MUMS project have results permitting to organize a tutorial that provide courses and to provide know-how. The tutorial provides introduction in self-sensing, in control with consideration of the uncertainties and noise at the micro-scale, and control with consideration of the lack of sensors at this scale. The tutorial was held the 7th of July 2014 during the IEEE/ASME International Conference on Intelligent Advanced Mechatronics (AIM) , Besançon France. included five (5) presentations/courses in the morning at the salle Granvelle of the Mercure Hotel and labs in the afternoon at the University of Franche-Comté. The labs included self-sensing, open-loop control of hysteresis, and micromanipulation of small objects with controlled microgripper. More than 20 persons in total attended the tutorial, including PhD and master students and researchers.

An article published at the Workshop in Teaching and related Technologies

The self-sensing methodology was published and presented at the CETSIS, (Enseignement des Technologies et des Sciences de l'Information et des Systèmes), Besançon, October 2014, where innovative teaching methods and techniques were presented.
